We are frequently looking for fully qualified, native-speaker teachers for our after-school Mother Tongue Language Classes and / or English Adult or Young Learner Classes. English Adult teachers must be CELTA qualified and have a broad experience in teaching.
English Adult Courses take place during mornings, lunchtimes, afternoons and / or evenings. Teachers are required to teach flexible hours and / or work at different locations.
The successful candidates for the Mother Tongue languages will have recognised teaching degrees and 3 - 5 years experience of teaching languages, ideally in the primary age range. The BSN is committed to offering language tuition and has a wide range of extra-curricular language courses. These after-school classes aim to stimulate language development and cultural awareness in a fun way at primary school level and age.
BSN Mother Tongue Classes take place once a week at the end of school, between 15.00 and 17.00. Teachers working as part of the Language Class team are timetabled to work for a minimum of 1-hour teaching per week and a maximum of 5 hours per week. The class size is usually around ten to sixteen students, and the lessons follow the BSN school calendar. Classes are held at the BSN Language Centre in Leidschenveen.
If you are interested in teaching at the BSN Language Centre, please keep an eye on the current vacancies page of The British School in The Netherlands' website. We are currently recruiting a Dutch Adults / NT2 teacher and looking for experienced, CELTA qualified teachers for the English courses late afternoon and / or evenings. Please read the job descriptions at the BSN vacancy page for further details.
